Nov 1: Campbell Tour, a Regenerative Retrofit (Los Angeles)

GAIA is excited to announce our upcoming event with USGBC-LA, showcasing the essence of sustainable living. As consultants in the built environment, we believe in designing homes that take responsible care of our ecosystems.

Wednesday November 1
4:30 – 6pm
Del Rey/Mar Vista neighborhood

What to expect:

🏡 Tour: Get a first look at the Campbell Collective, a 1947 residential project that used the Living Building Challenge framework to achieve Zero-Energy Certification.

The award-winning project produces more water on-site than it consumes in a year, grows food from over forty trees, is home to chickens, and more!

See firsthand the innovative technologies, circular systems, and upcycled materials, including atmospheric water generators and the laundry-to-landscape greywater system.

🌿 Taste: Sample herbs and fruit harvested from the garden and infuse your own olive oil to take home. Artisan sourdough bread will be provided by Random Acts of Breadness.

đŸ„ƒ Drink: Sip on apple cider made from the homeowner’s orchard in the Sequoias, which includes trees as old as 1880 grown completely organically from the rain.

đŸ‘„ Meet & Mingle: Hang out with other sustainability-driven enthusiasts, builders, designers, farmers, and architects.
